Required Skills and Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
? Minimum 7 years experience that includes logical and physical data modeling in a large data warehouse environment with a database architecture comparable to Sharp?s.
? Proficient in Oracle and hands-on experience with Informatica ETL tools.
? Experience with complex systems integration and experience with industry standard data modeling tools.
? Working knowledge of various operating systems including Windows and Unix.
? Experienced in creating highly available systems, leadership skills and ability to mentor and train other technical staff members.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
? Knowledge and experience with business intelligence and analytics solution design and delivery.
? Excellent written and oral communication skills.
? Ability to identity tasks and timelines for technical projects
The Data Architect will be responsible for the maintenance, improvement and implementation of data sources into the Enterprise Data Warehouse environment. Must have the ability to follow an established SDLC process in all development, assignments and contribute ideas to the expansion of tools and data to the EDW. Good communication skills to assist in client requirements meetings and ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical person. Understand and apply standards in coding and testing and able to determine project requirements and timelines based on functional specifications, client requirements and system design.
This position will also assist in the implementation of additional MDM modules and assist in the adoption of standard strategic tools to support the enterprise data warehouse and analytics program.
