JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description:

The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by Boeing Security. Suppliers, refer to your Supplier Guide for information on this requirement.
Independently leads analysis of Financial Statements and associated risks and opportunities for presentation to internal/external stakeholders. Makes recommendations on financial performance and projections using extensive financial statement knowledge and experience. Initiates assignments and leads integration and analysis of Estimates at Completion (EACs) and financial and/or resource forecasts. Leads or consults on the development of cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines and variance analyses. Initiates detailed analysis in support of rate allocation methodology, risk assessments and contingency/recovery plans. Leads the development of rate models by defining the parameters. Provides direction and interpretation to ensure compliance with new or evolving regulatory requirements. Leads, analyzes and presents business opportunities by assimilating long-range objectives, strategic plans and business cases using appropriate financial indices to maximize profitability and shareholder value. Consults on requirements definition and deployment of common systems, tools, processes and training to improve business planning processes. Works under consultative direction.

 

Required Skills

Bachelors degree or higher degree
10 or more years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Financial Controls Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
5 or more years of experience working with technical,
managerial and or executive levels and leading presentations tthem
Experience in forecasting, developing long range business plans and using the opportunity and risk system
Experience and/or training on FAR and DFARS compliance
Experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.
5 or more years of experience working with the planning & scheduling processes, cost analysis, and or Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

Extensive expertise in commercial and government contracting
Experience with Government contract financial reporting via Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs)
Experience dealing with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and/or Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) customer
Experience in EAS, FPCR, EPAS, CSPR Cobra & OPP, IRE, COGNOS, ReMICS, and BORIS

 

Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).
