Requirements:
Accounting Assistant to support the Accounts Payable team. The selected individual will report to the manager of Accounts Payable Solutions and will utilize SAP and Open Text to support Accounts Payable functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, company policies and procedures, disclosure statements, and government regulations, as they relate to our accounts payable tasks. Primary responsibilities will include non- Rocessing duties such as cost transfer adjustments, processing refund checks, researching and clearing items that have gone into an exception status, and helping coordinate and assisting with month end close activities and occasional posting of invoices. The successful candidate must have knowledge of PO related Accounts Payable activities, demonstrate excellent customer service, and have an analytical mindset. This person will be an instrumental to the completion of projects and goals associated within the A/P area. This person will also be expected to perform other responsibilities including:
