Stay up to date with culinary and gastronomic trends and styles.

Basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits

Ability to work flexible hours, including shift work, weekends and holidays.

Knowledge of state and local alcohol regulations.

Knowledge of beverage preparation technology.

Responsibilities:
Verifies customer identification to confirm age requirements for purchasing alcohol.

Presents the menu, answers questions, and takes food and drink orders from gue+

Prepares orders for drinks, including wine liquor and beer.

Prepare snacks and food according to recipes and standards.

Oversees lounge/bar seating arrangements to ensure all guests are served.

Calculates invoice and accepts payment; Tracks and balances
sales receipts.

Attempts to limit concerns and liability associated with excessive drinking by customers through measures such as discontinuing alcoholic beverage service and notifying management of potential problems.

Clean work areas and bar tables, as well as utensils and bar equipment.

Keeps the kitchen and living room clean; clean and fresh kitchen and bar at the end of each shift.

Plan, organize and control the lounge/bar.

Slice fruit and remove pits to garnish drinks.

Arrange the bottles and glasses so that they look attractive.

Create drink recipes.

A weekly inventory of liquor, food and equipment is carried out. Order or request supplies as needed.

Provides daily maintenance of all temporary and waste logs.

Receives dates and inspects food and supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet established standards and specifications.

Ensures correct tip reporting for tax processing.

Other duties as assigned.
