Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Bridge Builders and NSC programs and supervise
program staff (Volunteer Coordinator and relevant Work Study students), proactively
ensuring program staff are making efficient progress on their goals, meeting
expectations, and problem solving issues creatively and healthily
- Establish program goals and make progress toward them
- Regularly assess the strengths and weaknesses of the program, and proactively
develop strategies for improvement
- Design, refine, and conduct evaluation of metrics and outcomes to produce internal
and external reports (quarterly reports to RCP internal staff and bi-annual community
report backs)
- Ensure participant data is up to date and records are kept in accordance with funding
and regulatory requirements.
- Refine, update, and manage family onboarding materials and processes
- Assemble Program reports for Board of Directors
Member Relationship Management
- Onboard new families into Bridge Builders and NSC programs, ensure their
Salesforce profile is accurate and up-to-date, and that they are plugged into the
correct programs.
- Match families with volunteers and host matching meetings with support from the
Volunteer Coordinator
- Develop family check-in materials and check in with them 1x/month during their first
3 months.
- Collaborate with program staff to problem solve issues that arise, using an
-empowerment- approach that includes families in their own problem solving and
decision-making
Volunteer Management & Engagement
Work with Volunteer Coordinator to:
- Support volunteers in being able to work effectively alongside families (provide
linguistic support, resource support and/or administrative support.
- Develop plans in collaboration with volunteers to be able to support families with
their identified goals.
Benefits:
- $20,000 annual half-time base salary + $1,500 Language Equity Pay for those who
use their native language (other than English) to perform job duties, totaling $21,500
- Flexible schedule
- Reimbursement for mileage when travel outside of Carrboro-Chapel Hill is required
- Paid Time Off:Open PTO policy - meaning work hard and take time off when you
need IT.
