Job Description

The Senior DevOps CI/CD Engineer will manage how the company deploys, verifies, and monitors applications and services.  This person will interface with all stakeholders to facilitate the DevOps processes and help application teams successfully deploy their projects. This role will assist in the ongoing improvement of the CI/CD environment provisioning and development workflows.


Essential Job Functions:

Review and analyze processes and system specifications to ensure delivery requirements are met. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues. Monitors the CI/CD platform performance to achieve optimum performance levels. Document test plans, create/revise execution scripts. Test and analyze infrastructure resources and setup. Administer, customize and enhance the functionality of the Jenkins ecosystem to build and deploy pipelines. Oversees implementation of security guidelines to prevent unauthorized access and report any violations. Assist with adherence to technology policies and comply with all security standards. Interface with other team members and other teams to ensure technology solution and staff are in line with customer expectations and overall technology vision
and goals. Create plugins, widgets, development utilities, and applications using Rest APIs, Atlassian products and SDK for tools etc. Manage popular 3rd party tools and develop custom applications using innovative technologies. Develop and maintain applications using modern platforms such as nodejs, python, java etc. Document and communicate incident status in a timely manner including metric reporting. Lead/Co-lead internal process improvement initiatives. Provide feedback on processes by offering suggestions. Evaluates industry trends, standards, and modern technologies to recommend change. Mentor and supervise junior staff in project-level tasks. Ensure all work products meet/exceed FINRA standards. Participate in periodic Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) testing, auditing, and reporting.

Job Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years' experience. Experience implementing CI/CD using Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory Pro. Extensive hands-on experience with AWS concepts. Experience working with one or more Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation. Knowledgeable of common scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, etc.
