Requirements:
- More than 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Must possess a valid driver's license and must have a clean driving record
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
- Experience using diagnostic software a plus
- Must be computer literate, have the ability to be trained in software systems, and a willingness to learn.
Knowledge, Skills
- Communicative skills
- Demonstrate the ability to follow detailed instructions, work independently, and keep accurate records.
- Ability to understand and effectively use repair and parts manuals written in English.
- Ability to operate any vehicle or equipment necessary to perform the job.
- Possess the physical ability to perform all aspects of the job.
Physical/Mental Demands:
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, stoop, or other
- Frequent physical exertion, including the handling of necessary tools and equipment.
- Have the ability to lift, push, pull up to 100 pounds.
Working conditions:
- Frequently exposed to loud noise, humidity, hot and cold weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, toxic and caustic chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles.
- The work environment is often noisy.

Diagnose and repair operational difficulties with heavy- Duty diesel trucks and equipment.
- Maintain and repair equipment and heavy diesel, CNG, gas and electric vehicles.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes.
- Complete reports, work orders, maintain parts inventory, and perform other administrative tasks as required on a daily basis.
- Plan and schedule repairs on the M5 planner and acquire all the parts for a successful plan.
- Assist in the review of mechanical reports on the equipment and coordinate the repair schedule.
- Guarantee safe working conditions and compliance with all safety regulations.
- Use of a variety of power and hand tools and equipment.
- Possess, provide, and maintain the tools necessary to perform tasks related to heavy/hydraulic equipment maintenance.
- Keep a clean work area.
- Comply in all respects with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, other orders, and all company policies, procedures, and directives of supervisors.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new employees.
- Maintain a working knowledge and stay up to date with the latest technology through the use of technical manuals and attendance technical training seminars and tests.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.
