Senior Business Analyst - Peoplesoft

Type of Education Required:
Graduation from an accredited College or University with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or related field
PeopleSoft certification is preferred Type of Experience and Number of Years:
Three years or more of PeopleSoft Business Analyst and QA experience including with PeopleSoft HCM
Three years or more of PeopleSoft upgrade experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
In-depth knowledge of core functionality for some of the following PeopleSoft (9.2) modules including setup/rule configuration: Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Position Management, North American Payroll, Time and Labor, HRMS Portal Pack, Workflow, Benefits Administration, eBenefits, ePay, Talent Acquisition Manager, Candidate Gateway, eCompensation, eProfile, eLearning, and Learning Management
Proven analytical abilities
In-depth knowledge of the PeopleSoft HCM data model
High proficiency with SQL language and PeopleSoft reporting tools
Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
Ability to gather business requirements
Ability to translate business requirements to functional designs
Ability to translate functional designs into technical specifications
Ability to analyze business problems and advocate best solutions
Ability to write test scenarios, cases, and
scripts
Experience in leading test efforts including System, Integration, Users Acceptance
Possess exceptional project management skills, understand full project life cycle
Customer service-oriented "Business drives the technology"
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment, with strong interpersonal skills and desire to grow professionally.
Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively
In-depth experience in leave business processes preferred
Experienced with HR/Payroll integration with Finance/Position Management preferred
Public sector experience is a plus
Experience with CPS business processes a plus
In-depth experience with some of the following PeopleSoft technologies preferred:
o PeopleSoft Security, Tax updates, Workflow, Portal,
o Patches/Fixes, PeopleTools (8.49 or higher),
o PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Tools, SQR/SQL, Query manager, Component Interface,
o Process Scheduler, and Integration Broker
In-depth experience with the Kronos timekeeping modules and integrations preferred.
