Responsibilities:
DOY Services is a care provider agency for individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Our staff are comprised of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) that provide care to our individuals on a day- To- Day basis. We have 2 Office locations, one in Reynoldsburg that serves only Franklin County and one in Eastern Ohio that serves Coshocton, Holmes, Knox, Tuscarawas and Wayne counties. Currently, our Reynoldsburg Office serves 5 individuals, one of those individuals is only a few hours a week, the other 4 individuals receive 24- Hour care.
Our DSPs provide a wide range of services to assist our individuals, including assisting with household chores and meal preparations, grocery shopping and money management, and transportation among many other responsibilities. We encourage our staff to plan activities with the individuals they serve, whether IT is going for a walk, an outing at a nearby park, or anything that our individuals may be interested in. Our DSPs work one- On- One with the individuals in the individuals- own homes, we are not a facility that houses multiple individuals. Our goal is to assist our individuals in becoming as independent as possible within his/her skill level.
The wonderful thing about DOY Services is that everyone in the company is involved in the lives of our individuals and our DSPs never need to look very far for help. Our Residential

managers and even our CEO are very hands- On when IT comes to our individuals and our staff. We don-t simply train our staff on the basics and then leave them floundering, so to speak. Our Residential Managers are at the sites multiple times per week to ensure the needs of our individuals are being met and make sure our staff are happy and don-t have any issues or concerns. Our training program takes about 3- 4 days and meant to ensure our new staff are as confident and comfortable as possible before beginning his/her regularly scheduled shifts. Additionally, the Residential Managers and the CEO also work shifts with the individuals as well.
We also pay for all of your training, including First Aid/CPR training if you don-t already have IT. We also offer paid time off, vision/dental insurance, and a variety of life and accident insurance policies as well.
The only requirements we have is that you are at least 18 years old, can pass a criminal background check, and have a high school diploma or GED. (If you don-t a diploma or GED, we can still hire you on a contingent basis as long as you receive your GED within 2 years of being hired)
