Job Description:

Develop and implement company Policies and\nProcedures in conjunction with senior management to assure consistent and good\nemployee relations. Assist in planning and organizing workforce to effectively\nmeet company objectives. Develop and administer wage, salary and benefit\nprograms following company philosophy.

Job Duties and\nResponsibilities
Manage the Human Resources Departmentâ? s resources and\n personnel to obtain maximum benefit through organization, training and\n leadership.

Assist senior staff in the development and implementation\n of company-wide policies and procedures. Maintain and update functions\n such as recruiting, and wage/salary administration.

Assist with the training and coaching management/supervision\n personnel to improve leadership skills.

Promote employee participation and cooperation in\n achieving a positive teamwork culture for all employees.

Lead the â?People Planningâ? efforts to drive succession\n planning. Work with Senior Staff to identify high-potential employees, and\n assist with coaching, mentoring and training these high-potentials.

Assist with the payroll administration by working with\n Accounting and TriMas Payroll. Must ensure timely and accurate payroll\n processing.

Lead efforts to interact with the local community and\n schools. Working with the Norris Donation Committee and Marketing Analyst\n to bring successful communication between Norris and the community.

Direct employee performance evaluation program. Promote\n the opportunity for a formal discussion by employees and their supervisors\n to

review overall work performance, objectives, and career development.

Design and administer wage, salary, and bonus programs to\n provide competitive cost effective compensation plans by collecting and\n analyzing survey data to support changes in policy, practice and rates of\n pay for all personnel levels.

Recruit qualified candidates following current EEO and ADA\n hiring guidelines for exempt and non-exempt positions utilizing available\n resources to maintain an effective work force.

Coordinate and interpret all company policies to assure\n consistent application and equitable employee relations.

Be a liaison with TriMas regarding Workersâ? Compensation,\n outside insurance carriers and primary care medical providers to ensure\n that all industrial accident cases are resolved in a timely fashion.

Ensure OSHA 300 logs and State workersâ? compensation\n filing requirements are in compliance and coordinate with EH&S Manager\n to assure accurate recording of safety data.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor\nDegree in Human Resource Management or related field with ten or more years of\nexperience in a Human Resource environment. Prior management experience is\nrequired. PHR/SPHR certification is preferred. PC experience using Microsoft products and common personnel tracking and\ntimekeeping data bases is necessary.
