Electrician - Nashville

Requirements:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced electrician to join our team. As an electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. You will work on a variety of projects, both residential and commercial, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and regulations. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, excellent problem- Olving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high- Quality workmanship.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program is preferred.
- Valid electrician's license or certification as required by the state or local jurisdiction.
- Proven experience as an electrician, with a solid understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and best practices.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Sound knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem- Olving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast- Aced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, heights, and adverse weather conditions.
- Exceptional focus on safety protocols and the ability to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, including wiring, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
- Inspect electrical systems, identify issues, and troubleshoot problems to determine the most effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to plan and execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to coordinate electrical installations with construction or renovation projects.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure the safety and reliability of electrical systems.
- Test electrical systems and components using specialized tools and equipment to verify proper functioning and diagnose malfunctions.
- Install and maintain electrical panels, transformers, generators, and other electrical equipment.
- Respond to service calls and emergency situations promptly, evaluating problems and providing effective solutions.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked for billing and reporting purposes.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, electrical codes, and safety standards to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
