Job Responsibilities:

General support of Windows Desktop and Server systems as well as Linux in lab environments

Patch management

General security control compliance

Application troubleshooting associated with OS configuration or patching

Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

Use ticketing system and maintain data, respond to email requests from customers seeking help.

Write training manuals.

Train lab users.


daily performance of lab computer systems.

Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.

Resolve basic technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN) and other systems.

Install computer peripherals for users.

Follow up with lab customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
