Financial Controller - Denver

Requirements:
Grassrootlab is a dynamic and innovative startup that addresses complex social issues through entrepreneurial projects. We are seeking a Financial Controller to serve as the central point of contact for all financial- Related matters across our businesses. This role requires in- Depth expertise in accounting, auditing, and financial management. The successful candidate will serve as a bridge between our bookkeeping team, our CPA, and our leadership, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions and documents.
Responsibilities:
Requirements:
1- Financial Oversight: Review financial records for accuracy, work closely with the bookkeeping team and CPA to ensure correctness in all financial
Documents.
2- KPI Management: Develop, maintain, and present a holistic dashboard of key financial indicators.
3- Compliance and Auditing: Regularly audit the work of the bookkeeping team and oversee CPA's tax filings, ensuring all documents adhere to U. S. Tax laws
And international accounting standards.
4- Process Development: Design and implement financial procedures and guidelines for the back- Office team and CPA.
5- Financial Consulting: Provide insights, strategies, and financial advice to leadership, enabling informed decision- Making.
6- Prior experience in auditing and financial oversight.
7- Familiarity with U. S. Tax laws is a plus.
8- Ability to collaborate with our tech team.
9- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
1- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Master's preferred.
2- Minimum 8+ years of experience in related fields.
3- International and domestic finance experience.
4- Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning.
5- Strong communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders, investors, and partners.
6- Proficiency in financial softwares and Tools like Quickbooks.
