Position: HR Business Manager

Location: Irving, TX

Duration: Full Time

We have an opportunity for an HR Business Manager to join our fast-growing team. Why work for Tachyon Technologies? Your role: have a passion and interest in HR as a profession; have general knowledge of the function of human resources, a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills. This role will report directly to our Vice President, Operations and will partner with him/her to ensure the successful implementation and uniform administration of company-wide initiatives and practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the new hire onboarding and orientation process including new hire paperwork Act as the main point of contact for employees with questions or concerns in a timely and confidential manner Manage enrollment and termination in employee benefit policies, and coordinate efforts with outside brokers and carriers Evaluate, plan and implement positive employee relations programs and activities Setup Internal Immigration process and support during filing, transfer, extension and visa amendment and co-ordinate with attorneys Partner with international HR team to support business unit initiatives Research training & development options and vendors as well as scheduling and setting up training sessions & tracking attendance Manage Employee Insurance enrollment and dis-enrollment during
hire & exit Partner with leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment Drives the administration of people processes such as performance review and compensation Liaise with the finance and recruiting teams Conduct exit interviews and process employee paperwork for exiting employees Manage employee paperwork and files for the office  Partner with managers to retain, develop and motivate people to achieve their fullest potential Develop corporate policies and employment policies to support Tachyon business Special projects as assigned

Ideal Candidate Profile:

5-10 years of HR related experience in a generalist capacity Experience supporting benefits and visas Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and initiative, with a focus on delivering results Strong customer focus and sense of urgency Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and requirements Ability to prioritize, stay organized, set clear expectations and drive the process while delivering expert support and results Strong analytical, reporting and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to develop credibility and strong rapport with business leaders; with a consultative approach Good work ethic with initiative and motivation Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently Experience working in a small to medium entrepreneurial culture a plus
