JOB DESCRIPTION

Human Capital Senior Generalists are the front-line resource for handling all employee relations and policy questions and concerns within an assigned business group or functional unit. The Senior Generalist partners closely with HC Delivery business partners as well as our internal COE's, compliance team, and legal teams to ensure that employee relations matters are addressed appropriately.

In addition to normal Senior Generalist responsibilities, this role will have a special focus on FMLA, ADA, and general leave management practices. As the leave management subject matter expert, this role will have the challenging and exciting responsibility of leading efforts to revamp TTEC's end to end leave management practices to improve leave utilization, establish a strong partnership with TTEC's leave management vendor, and most importantly provide a seamless and easy experience for all TTEC employees.

Key Performance Objectives

Serves as subject matter expert for all FMLA, ADA, and general leave inquiries
Resolves most employee relations issues
Ensures compliance with all local human resources laws and regulations.
Serves as the primary POC for site closures and ramp downs.
Acts as HC support for all ADA requests
Conducts confidential investigations

received through We Hear You case management or brought directly to their attention.
Supports potential termination actions through a RIF/WARN assessment
Ensures the timely and accurate update of employee data in the Oracle database
Administers special programs.
Basic Qualifications
Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other general leave practices
Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
Open, honest, and empathetic manner when dealing with people
Strong attention to detail and desire to follow procedures
High customer service orientation
Working knowledge of database applications such as Oracle and MS Office, or ability to learn technology quickly
High level of integrity, honesty, and judgment
Trusted advisor to leaders and employees in challenging situations
1year of experience at Generalist level
Preferred
Process improvement certification (white belt or above)
Previous call center recruiting experience
Previous experience supporting 400+ employee population
