Wintel / AD L3 Job Responsibility:
Extensive knowledge on Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 Active Directory & Experienced in large scale Production Support Server Environment.
Expert knowledge in Active Directory 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019 Deployment, Troubleshooting and Administration
Strong knowledge on installing, configure, manage & troubleshooting Microsoft Windows OS, AD, DNS, DFS,NLB and Cluster.
Sound knowledge & hands-on experience on hardware servers (HP/IBM/Cisco)
Administration, configuration of Cisco UCS, HP OA/Oneview
Perform AD server configuration according to installation check list
To perform upgrade of Active Directory (2003/2008/2012) environment apply change management process
Manage the system properties, system policies and services on active directory top level domain structure and to delegate control/administration on active directory lower level domain structure.
Managing of Group policy objects (GPO) and intensive group nesting concepts.
Management of Active Directory domain controller FSMO roles
Administrating complex multi domain AD forest, trust relationship.
Creating and maintaining production AD for test & dev purpose.
Configure and manage the Directory Replication service
Managing DFS based file server and ensure replication is intact.
Diagnose and resolve problems associated with the Directory Replication service.
Strong Knowledge of Troubleshooting skills on Windows server (Blue Screen Errors, performance & capacity issues, permissions issues)
Managing TS/RDP license service on Active Directory domain controllers
Create or remove Trust relationships and basic knowledge on SSO or ADFS.
AD Backups & Disaster recovery Concepts in Sites and DC server level (Objects/NTDS/DFSR/OS issue).
Ensure the overall security of the Active Directory domain.
Scripting knowledge /experience in VB Script, PowerShell is must.
Handling escalated incidents or high critical tickets providing RCA.
Predicting Risk/Impact and Participating in Major Changes.
Handling 3rd party for underpinning contract SLA's
Working knowledge of server virtualization host

and Guest OS.
To provide technical support to clients, respond promptly to issues reported by clients, conducting root cause analysis and going through various testing scenarios for thorough resolution.
Develop and maintain operational documentation and specifications on system builds, disaster recovery, and standard operating procedures.
Drive root cause analysis and provide feedback to improve future customer architecture changes.
Drive customer escalated issues to closure by providing workarounds and fixes in a timely manner.
Enhance customer satisfaction by responding to all customer filed issues specific to AD & Windows and providing relief either through self or by driving visibility of the issues upstream to ensure they get fixed.
Improve product supportability and serviceability by actively participating in new design development to provide feedback to drive increased stability of AD and Windows platforms for enhanced customer satisfaction.
An ability to learn new technologies quickly Good time management skills with strong documentation skills.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work.
Provide on-site support at data centre for infrastructure maintenance activities.
Work with Local & Global Teams
Perform in 24 x 7 environment in shift roaster and attend calls whenever assigned

Additional Qualification / Skills:
Strong Knowledge on SNOW, Splunk, SCCM, etc. is an added advantage.
VMWARE / Microsoft Windows / Hyper-V certifications are an added advantage.
