Requirements:
CDA, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred but not required
Experience working with children in a licensed early education facility
A desire to continue growing professionally and obtain CDA with financial assistance offered by the school
Meet background check eligibility
Responsibilities:
Ability to understand and support the education program using -learning through play- philosophy
Ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times
Ability to change children-s diapers and/or assist with toileting (where necessary)
Ability to lift items/children ~50 pounds
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with school personnel, children, and parents
Ability to multitask in a lively environment and work well within a team
Ability to handle crisis situations, including assisting in evacuating the building during emergencies
