Lead Production Planner/Scheduler MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Lead Production Planner/Scheduler for a client located in Saukville Wisconsin. Shift 1st 7Am-3:30PM- Half hour lunch 30 day probation period before they buy the contract out. As Lead, you will manage planning personnel and own, improve, and maintain all planning parameters (such as lead time, production schedules, order quantities, forecasts, and safety inventory targets) in MRP system Work with our international manufacturing teams daily to ensure accuracy of inventory and in-transit records Communicate important updates and production schedule changes that will impact the Quote/Sales department Verify Client Purchase Orders to ensure accuracy of part numbers, prices, ship to addresses, ship dates, etc. and reference against quotes As Lead, you will manage and cultivate key partnerships with the sales, operations, shipping, quality engineering, and finance teams Develop and review department operational policies and procedures Contribute to daily meetings around critical project issues, inventory, production, and shipping Monitor and implement changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met Recommend viable solutions to reduce costs as well as improve processes, product quality and inventory management Promptly inform the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules Assist with inventory accuracy and metrics and communicating with the customer on product reports Directly work with customers to provide information on order status and coordinate schedule and forecast adjustments to address the customer's needs


Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent work Experience Preferred Previous experience in Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Production, and operational inventory management is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and MRP system; Learn and use other software as needed Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the Organization Positive attitude and professional behavior; acts with integrity; maintains confidentiality Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to ensure project success
