Job Description :
* Responsible for Application Development, Maintenance and Support of Legacy Mainframe applications and with an outlook on modernization initiatives. Ability to work in Agile methodology. Should have strong DB2 skills with very good understanding of VSAM file systems as well.
Mandatory skills:
* Expert level of knowledge in Mainframe Tech 8+ years in (COBOL, JCL, DB2) with some knowledge in CICS. Strong in DB2.
* Should have worked on resolving issues and L2/L3 support for Business requests
* Must have recent hands on experience in building and testing mainframe applications
* Should possess excellent analytical and communication skills to be able to understand the client goals and work towards them.
* Knowledge of working on modernization initiatives, Knowledge of tools like IDz would be a plus.
* Ability to work on an onshore-offshore model and co-ordinate with offshore team
