The job: Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining corrugated cardboard equipment according to safety, predictive/corrective maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of our customers goals and objectives. We have 2nd and 3rd shift positions available.
Responsibilities:
What Pro Services is looking for in a Maintenance Technician
4+ years experience with industrial electrical maintenance
Passion for working with hands and repairing machinery
Performing all electrical and mechanical predictive and corrective maintenance
Maintain electrical power systems, in an industrial setting with ranging from, but not limited to 12- 240v DC and 120- 480 AC. Knowledge of 3- Hase power systems is a must
Maintain Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), working with both low voltage (480) and medium voltage (4,160) equipment. Configure and troubleshoot using local interface and communication software.
Understanding of the working components of PLC/VFD systems.
Equipment includes Corrugator, Flexo Printers, Rotary die cutters, Folder Gluers
Maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using skills to troubleshoot with communication
Troubleshoot, maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems; focus on hydraulics
Maintain electrical equipment and components, working with frequency controllers, electrical conductors, conduit, cable trays, power panels, motor control centers, and overhead lines.
Daily Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Must be physically able to climb ladders, stairs, ramps, and scaffolds and bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, squat, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
Use fine motor skills and hand- Eye coordination.
Must be able to visually inspect machines.
Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
Must be able to traverse wet, slippery, unsteady, irregular, narrow, vibrating or moving surfaces.
