- Possess a degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities:
- Oversees maintenance operations for a food plastics manufacturing facility consisting of hourly associates and management staff.
- Analyzes and solves technical maintenance issues.
- Work closely with employees to troubleshoot plant equipment.
- Identify equipment failure caused by improper care or use and provide appropriate corrective action.
- Maintain safe working conditions for associates and compliance with all state and federal regulations on environmental, health and safety issues.
- Manages the current plant maintenance programs to ensure equipment downtime does not exceed current downtime standard.
- Ensure associates have the tools, resources, and capabilities to succeed and deliver on expectations.
- Identifies, implements, and supports capital improvement projects.
- Conducts performance appraisals of the Maintenance management team; recommends and/or implements appropriate training programs to address developmental needs.
- Analyze data, generate reports, and implement actions to improve KPI?s.
- Administers and audits all Maintenance safety control programs.
- Administers and audits all Maintenance environmental protection programs.
- Develops and maintains an effective training program for Maintenance Department employees and all other employees required to participate in any preventive/predictive maintenance (PM) activity.
- Maintain an effective PM program. Train and interact with non- Maintenance department employees as needed to ensure PM compliance.
- Develops short- And long- Term planning, objectives, programs and goals and department budget and cost controls.
- Ability to develop and maintain optimized interdepartmental relationships.
- Manage and achieve set goals for the management of the MRO system and processes.
- Perform managerial duties related to personnel decisions, including but not limited to, writing and conducting performance evaluation, hiring, disciplinary and termination decisions in conjunction with the Human Resources Department, and work assignments.
- Schedules and supervises the work of staffed and outsourced personnel who repair and maintain company property.
- Select office service personnel, obtain quotes/pricing as required, schedules services to be performed.
- Establish proper controls and methods for proper preventative maintenance. Maintain logs and records of procedures/controls and related.
- Handle minor maintenance adjustments/repairs as required.
- Assures that repairs and services meet all building code and/or safety requirements and regulations.
- Works closely with management to ensure sites meet various audit and operational requirements.
