Requirements:
Our Western Regeneration location has an opening for a maintenance mechanic located at our Nursery in Olympia, WA. We are seeking an individual who has the desire to work safely in an agricultural production facility as part of an industry leading seedling company.
High school diploma or equivalent
Solid work history with 2+ year(s) of maintenance experience
Ability to work safely and adhering to site safety procedures.
Ability to perform essential job functions such as bending, stooping, reaching overhead, lifting, and up and on equipment.
Able to handle multiple projects effectively.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem- Olving skills
Demonstrate willingness and ability to learn new jobs and skills.
Strong listening and communication skills; ability to demonstrate open, honest, and regular exchange of information; and treat all employees with respect and dignity.
Team oriented; put teams needs ahead of individual interests; work to develop trust and respect; take initiative and solve issues; accept personal accountability for teams plans and results.
Responsibilities:
Safety conscious and self- Motivated
Welding and fabrication
Repairing and installing piping for irrigation and wastewater
Read and interpret shop drawings.
Perform preventative maintenance including, but not limited to, regular services, greasing, replacement of wear components, etc.
Benefits:
This is a full- Time, hourly position represented by the IAM- AW Union. Benefits (in accordance with the Labor Agreement) include medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, and holidays.
