Requirements:
BA / BS in Marketing, Business, Economics or other related field.
5+ years- experience in consumer research.
Experience in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods and ability to apply them appropriately to business issues.
Experience in or with technology, consumer products or home / construction- Related industries.
Strong analytical skills translating data into focused insights.
Highly organized, self- Tarter, able to execute in an ambiguous environment.
Superior communication, presentation, and people skills.
Experience working in a deadline- Oriented environment with a high attention to quality.

Responsibilities:
The Marketing Research Manager, position combines the role of a business analyst and a marketing strategist, capable of demonstrating substantial experience in developing actionable insights and intelligence. You will develop and execute primary research programs to uncover findings that can be applied to shaping our product roadmap, business development and sales & marketing initiatives. Your insights will help prioritize products and features, identify target audiences, and drive marketing.
Lead a broad set of research efforts with emphasis on the Pro (i. E. Ecurity dealer, builder, distributor) including coordination and execution (survey design, programming, analyses), analyzing secondary sources, and qualitative methods to gain a deep understanding of customers and users - inclusive of:
Behavior / path to purchase
Demographics, psychographics, and firmographics
Market segmentation
Market trends analysis / competitive landscape
Marketing / channel / social media analytics
Analyzes findings from research projects and market intelligence activities to create clear, concise, and actionable recommendations.
Drive decisions related to target customers, product direction, feature set and prioritization, positioning, messaging, category/market expansion, and market white space opportunities.
Work closely with a range of cross- Functional partners, including Product and Marketing Managers, to understand research needs, identify key objectives, manage timelines appropriately and bring insights to life.
Drives strong collaboration with vendor partners, managing day- To- Day relationships and setting a clear understanding of the project scope, budget and deliverables.
Prepares and presents results with an orientation toward actions and decision making.
