- Education and training in the principles and theories of Mechanical Engineering to include heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid flow dynamics, Heating Ventilation and Air- Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC- R), controls, operation of Direct Digital Controls (DDC); and electrical/electronic interfaces.
- As a secondary, the position requires entry level education and training in the principles and theories of Electrical Engineering to include determining load capacities, phasor angles, and electrical drawings.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Responsibilities:
- Professional engineer that plans, coordinates and monitors data gathering, analyses, as it related to supporting the Army?s Energy Program.
- Provide technical guidance that requires knowledge and experience in translating actual energy usage data, into graphical and numerical documentation.
- Convey data via written and web- Ased reporting systems to provide energy management analysis.
- Provide Energy Management task using Building Automation System (BAS) such as the Utilities Monitoring and Control System (UMCS) using LONWork or BACNet protocols.
- Identify technologies to improve operational efficiencies.
