Intergenerational Center - 3450 NW 199th St, Miami Gardens, FL 33056
When: Daytime, Monday thru Friday, 20 hours week, usually 10: 30am or 11am till 2: 30pm or 3pm
Rate of Pay: $15. 00 per hour
DCF 45 Childcare hours; and MUST be willing to take CDA/FCCPC coursework
Responsible for implementing daily learning activities, nurturing the children and managing and maintaining the Early Head Start classroom and its equipment and supplies, establishes and maintains supportive relationships with infants, toddlers, and parents and implementing developmentally appropriate routines and curriculum for infants and toddlers while covering any classroom assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.
Plan and implement individualized, developmentally appropriate, nurturing care for infants and toddlers in a center- Ased setting
Coordinate use of community resources to enrich the learning environment
Support program philosophy that parents are the primary educators and nurturers of their children
Enhance the relationship of parents and their children by encouraging parent participation
Oversee and assist with classroom cleanup and follow universal precautions daily
Assist children in transitioning beginning and end of each day and during field trips
Maintain program standards regarding confidentiality and professional boundaries
