Responsibilities:
Understanding of product, process, tools, and production capacity
Leather wrapping experience (leather, vinyl) mandatory
Technical support and discussion with suppliers and customers
Oversee technical product as IT relates to tools and processes
Assist in building and checking of prototypes and samples
Executing change management
Work to improve processes and performance of trials/products
Development of concepts for new processes in collaboration with key accounts
Authoring of technical documents for manufacturing parameters and processing Windows
Development of statements of work/requirements for suppliers in coordination with purchasing
Performing technical talks with suppliers
Checking and approving of equipment with specification sheets
Transfer of equipment from supply base into subsidiaries
Support of series run offs and customer build events
Participation in product and process FMEA
Review of the CAD construction for products and equipment
Management of suppliers /supplier development when necessary
Tracking of timing plans with suppliers.
