JOB DESCRIPTION
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using purchasing software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of lighting industry is a plus.


Responsibilities:
- Assist the Purchasing Manager in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, supplies, and services.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and other related documents.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the inventory control team

to optimize stock levels.
- Assist in identifying cost- Aving opportunities and potential alternative suppliers.
- Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends and pricing.
- Assist assembly and shipping departments with inventory needs
- Support the purchasing team with administrative tasks as needed.
