Our client is a multinational and fast-growing company here in the United States. To assist in their daily operations, we have been hired to assist them in the recruitment of a Region HR Director.
Position Competencies
The Director of Human Resources is a professional that will be responsible for leading various internal activities within our client’s business. This individual directs and manages the coordination of all Human Resource services to include talent management, succession planning, performance management, recruiting and more. The Director of HR will serve as an HR leader and liaison for corporate level initiatives and operates as a business partner, consultant and support to business leaders. In addition, analyzes gaps and recommends solutions to ensure enhancement and acceptance of initiatives are met.
Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Develops and drives the people strategy aligned to the business strategy and supports achieving the business objectives. 
Coaches leadership  on  identification  and  development  of  HR  strategies,  identifying  gaps  and planning processes to support business initiatives. Acts as liaison with other HR teams (global) to coordinate development of programs, systems and processes to be used by teams to support the business. 
Lead change initiatives to support the achievement of functional goals and organizational growth; develop and execute change plans and communication for business strategy changes and/or HR process changes. 
Lead and strategically manage value-added HR process execution in the areas of performance management,  compensation and  benefits,  organizational  development  and  design,  workforce planning, learning and development, change management, talent and succession management, immigration and mobility.
Act as a strategic partner to executives providing HR expertise to enhance leadership abilities, relationships  among  teams/individuals,  interpersonal  communications,  people  engagement  and performance management. 
Works with recruiting team to design and implement candidate sourcing and selection processes for recruiting executive, professional, exempt and non-exempt level positions. 
Serves as the senior advisor to senior leaders on people issues. 
Works effectively with senior management as well as cross-functional
global HR teams to plan and execute innovation initiatives and solutions; ensures delivery of results. Effectively prepares and presents executive level presentations of plans and results. 
Manage a team of HR professionals (internal/external). 
Coach and develop leaders to attract, retain and motivate employees. 
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resource management or related field (or equivalent experience).
International environment with experience of 15+ years in human resources. 
Would be preferred having worked in a major company or division of a large corporation; should have experience in leading a team in 
multiple locations including outside United States perimeter.
Experience/ability to work in a matrixed, fast-paced, global, and rapidly changing business environment. 
Ability to analyze HR data, obtain insights and build plans to positively impact the business. 
Ability to collaborate, consult and influence with all levels of management and associates. 
Strong project management and prioritization skills. 
Interpersonal and organizational skills. 
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations. 
Ability to develop people and improve processes within organizations, facilitate innovation, and 
organizational change processes. 
Strong communication skills – written, oral, and presentation. 
Confident and willing to push back on business partners and leaders, as needed. 
Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, evaluate people, multi-task, and interface 
with executives at corporate level. 
Strong sense of urgency and accountability when making decisions and achieving goals.
