Requirements:
- Candidates Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English in a commercial sales context. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferable but is not a must.
- Minimum of 2 years' sales experience in a client facing role. To include Managing accounts in a defined region, preferably within an English-speaking territory
- Experience driving business and increasing sales over assigned accounts - specifically in the food industry - retail or food service channel
- Preferred experience would include knowledge of basic Excel, PowerPoint, Google search along with associated products and industry trends.
Responsibilities:
- Offer and close the sale of suitable products to current and potential customers.
- Manage system data to create price lists by category.
- Address new opportunities by identifying new/trending brands to offer current and potential customers.
- Track & communicate sales in a daily basis.
- Work to find business / sales opportunities through new customers, existing customers, new listings, and offering more profitable brands.
- Develop sales projections and set sales KPI-s.
- Generate additional sales by identifying and contacting inactive customers. Create, manage, and submit yearly and quarterly forecasts.
- 30% international and domestic travel is required to meet with customers and distributors.
- Leverage relationships to create a strong pipeline of leads
- Provide feedback to marketing management for strategic decisions
- Develop sales strategies & business plans for continued growth within the market
- Collaborate with the marketing team during the promotional planning, developing, implementation process.
- Report promotional activities return on investment (ROI) to VP of Marketing.
