Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Basic Life Support(BLS) by American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) by American Heart Association
RN License at MD
Covid Card
Responsibilities:
Ortho Spine Service lead nurse. Must have ortho/spine experience, able to circulate for surgical cases, should be able to scrub, and set up rooms, a good knowledge of ortho spine equipment, instruments, and supplies.
Utilize critical thinking skills to anticipate and manage delivery complications
Monitoring fetal heartbeat, as well as administering medication, coaching the mother and assisting with any complications that arise during delivery
Assist and circulate in operating room for cesarean sections, tubal, and emergency obstetric and gynecological procedures
Charting via electronic medical records using Cerner, transitioning to EPIC
Coordinate with the patient safety nurses that are present 24 hours for deliveries, run codes and assist with high- Risk deliveries
