We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Researcher to join our Biochemical and Cellular Pharmacology Department at our bayside campus in South San Francisco.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, validating and executing quantitative, and physiologically-relevant in vitro biochemical and/or cell-based functional assays to support small molecule drug discovery projects for one of several potential therapeutic areas (including oncology, immunology, neuroscience or infectious disease). The individual will conduct mechanistic studies to understand pharmacology of small molecule inhibitors and participate in cross functional target teams that support small molecule projects from hit finding through lead optimization.

Our ideal candidate would have already demonstrated an ability to make independent scientific, technical or strategic contributions to their research projects.

Strong organizational skills and some experience managing challenging workflows is ideal.
