What will set you up for success?
Exceptional verbal communication skills - Your proficiency in English should be exceptional, as you will play a pivotal role in effective interactions with dairy farm clients. Given that this role is onsite, strong in- Erson communication skills are crucial, as you will be consistently engaged in direct interactions with farmers.
2+ Years of Sales Experience - You should have at least two years of experience in sales.
Dairy farming background - You either possess education in fields such as animal science or animal probiotics, etc. , or you come from a family with a background in dairy farming.
Access to a pick- Up truck and willingness to travel around the US - As part of your responsibilities, having access to a pick- Up truck will be essential for traveling to dairy farm locations. This enables you to reach clients in rural areas and accommodate the transport of necessary equipment.
A genuine interest in and knowledge of the dairy industry will be highly beneficial.
Strong communication skills - Exceptional interpersonal skills are necessary for finding effective approaches to engage with various individuals, even in challenging situations. In the dairy industry, clear and effective communication is essential for addressing concerns and building trust with dairy farm clients.
Proactiveness and innovation - We expect you to be proactive and bring forward creative ideas to contribute to Cattle Care's growth within the dairy industry, not just execute existing tasks. Innovation is key in addressing evolving challenges in dairy farming.
As a Sales Development Representative at Cattle Care, your responsibilities will include:
Generating outbound leads - You will be proactively creating and nurturing outbound leads by traveling locally, regionally, and nationally as required (Anticipate approximately 50% travel).
Qualifying inbound leads - You will be efficiently assessing and qualifying inbound leads, assisting account executives in closing deals by providing crucial information and insights.
Conducting product demos - You will be responsible for delivering compelling and informative product demonstrations to prospective customers who express interest in Cattle Care, effectively showcasing the value and functionality of our solutions.
Optimizing sales pipeline - You will be continuously optimizing the sales pipeline by leveraging data and insights at each stage of the sales process.
Attending targeted events - You will be the one actively participating in industry- Ecific events and gatherings to identify and engage with new leads, expanding Cattle Care network and outreach efforts.
