Your focus will be helping the Standards & Governance Lead deliver results against ensuring foundational standards and governance are defined for complex business and technology initiatives. 

Success requires the ability to adapt and perform in various project management and scrum environments. 

In this position, your role as a Scrum Master and Practitioner will require you to apply Agile values and principles for an organization transitioning to Agile Delivery methodologies.

Specific responsibilities for the Scrum Master position include:

• Establish collaborative partnership with key stakeholders and provide guidance and support to numerous levels in an emerging Agile environment.

• Assess the current organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal Agile practices. Perform as a Scrum Master for one or more scrum teams.

• Facilitate road-mapping, planning sessions and retrospectives.

• Support the triage and resolution of critical project issues. Manage dependencies across multiple teams and leaders.

• Prepare and deliver verbally and orally effective communications regarding progress and status for both scrum teams and internal partners.

• Coach the team on the evolution of its processes and agile practices as it evolves in its agile journey

• Perform hands-on project work, including analysis, design and change management, as needed by the project

Specific qualifications for the Scrum Master position include:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master and /or Agile coach.

• Agile practitioner mindset with an understanding of common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and iterative development practices.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT full development life cycle.

• CSM certification or equivalent preferred. Experience with Jira a plus.

• PMP certification preferred.

• Demonstrated track record of successful ability to manage large and complex consulting engagements.

• Ability to help teams write user stories/epics, identify dependencies, and design optimal solutions. Awareness of shared services principles.

• Ability to operate effectively in an abstract environment

• Flexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people.

• Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence.

• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
