JOB DESCRIPTION
Requirements:
Regular and reliable personal and timely attendance for shifts that may include night hours, weekends and/or holidays as scheduled.

Ability to read, understand and comply with all company policies, safety and ethical procedures, as well as relevant laws, rules, orders, etc.

Communicate clearly in English and with the proper tone in person, by telephone, fax, radio communicators, and in various forms of writing such as data entry, email, and handwritten documents

Use a multi-line phone and a company-approved greeting.

The ability to detect phishing attempts and prevent others from infiltrating a company's computer network by practicing safe computer use and complying with company IT policies.

Ability to work with a computer (Internet, e-mail, Word) and print, as well as the ability to learn new software.

Work well in a team, get along with others, understand and follow legal directions and instructions the first time, follow all company policies and procedures, and ask questions to clarify instructions.

The ability to handle stressful situations and high profile clientele with poise, efficiency, confidentiality and professionalism, always with a sense of cultural awareness and sensitivity.

Ability to prioritize and multitask.

The ability to lift light to moderately heavy objects from the floor into an aircraft and vice
versa.

Ability to read small print.
Responsibilities:
Handle incoming calls and take a proactive sales approach with every customer interaction to unlock additional sales and service opportunities.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of Suburban Propane products and services, customer accounts and billing processes, new customer information, and various policies and procedures related to product delivery and service.

Present a professional, confident and enthusiastic image to develop a relationship of trust with all clients.

Maintain a high level of customer account management by properly setting up and maintaining account information and data.

Process and coordinate functions and activities in the areas of receivables, collections and payables

Manage administration, data entry, reporting and reconciliation for asset and inventory management, and purchasing.

Coordination with the Customer Service Center (CSC), regional and corporate staff to provide a high level of customer service and achieve operational efficiency.

Can help with route prediction and maintenance, as well as scheduling daily maintenance, installation, and repairs.
