As part of the Global Partner Organization, the Global Partner Strategy & Programs group is responsible for defining the 3-year roadmap for Commvault's partner business as well strategic initiatives and programs to support the company's growth trajectory. This organization also collaborates very closely with Corporate Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Pricing and Enablement to ensure full alignment on objectives & execution KPIs.
Within the Global Partner Strategy & Programs organization, the Sr Director of SaaS partner business models is a brand new role that will focus on defining & building the partner strategy to accelerate Commvault's growth as the company transitions to more SaaS revenues. This role will initially focus on defining an end to end plan for successful SaaS transformation of the business through and with partners. The scope of responsibilities has the potential to evolve & grow in alignment with Commvault's Global Partner Organization priorities.

This role will report into the VP of Partner Strategy & Programs. This is a leadership position empowered to influence and drive strategic direction and investments for Commvault over multiple years. This role will also have regular exposure to Commvault's executive staff and have accountability for overall partner SaaS transformation globally.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with recognized expertise in driving high impact partner initiatives related to SaaS transformation & software XaaS business models in general. A deep understanding of how the partner ecosystem works is a key. Outstanding executive communication, organization and people management skills are critical

Position Responsibility Include:

Strategy: Formulate the end-to-end partner strategy to accelerate Commvault's SaaS transformation and grow partner-led SaaS & subscriptions revenue.
Ensure Commvault is providing a highly differentiated value proposition to a broad partner ecosystem for SaaS solutions. Leverage industry insights

to define a best-in-class model that is mutually beneficial to partners & to Commvault.

Planning: Identify & prioritize cross-functional initiatives to deliver on Commvault's partner SaaS strategy and objectives (sales, marketing, operations, finance, legal, compliance, engineering, and customer success)
Articulate the transition plan & change management necessary to deliver on sales KPIs while evolving the company's operating model.
Construct business cases and obtain buy-in from all cross-functional stakeholders
Execution: Own the Partner SaaS transformation dashboard for Commvault. Act as single point of accountability to the executive staff for all metrics and KPIs

Influence: Build relationships across the company to be able to obtain support for Partner SaaS transformation initiatives & increase Commvault's revenue with partners.
Act as a thought leader and provide partner & SaaS domain expertise across the organization to drive the evolution of the company.

Position Requirements include:

At least 10 years of experience in partner sales, business development, or programs.
Proven experience with building and running partner SaaS & Subscriptions models
Recent experience in Data Management, Backup or Storage spaces
Deep knowledge of the partner ecosystem in particular Cloud Service Providers, Telcos and GSIs.
Experience in designing complex projects, programs to achieve goals and ROI targets
Strong financial acumen and experience with cloud economics & incentives
Demonstrated success working successfully within a Matrix management environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across boundaries in a Matrix organization
Ability to interact and communicate with various levels in the organization from individual contributor to senior executives.
