- • Payment: $80.00 upon completion of the recording session, subject to quality check and approval. Payments will be made via AirTm.
About the Job:
- • We are currently looking for participants in Texas and California aged 4 to 12 who are fluent in Spanish as their first language and speak Spanish at home. This project involves a recording session consisting of twenty prompts per speaker. Each participant will engage in spontaneous, letter naming scripted, segmented, and rapid automatized naming tasks.
Scope & Responsibilities:
- • Record twenty prompts per participant, including the following:
- • Spontaneous recordings: Describe a given picture in your own words.
- • Letter naming: Name all the letters in the alphabet with a one second pause between each
- • Scripted: Speaker reads or repeats provided sentences.
- • Segmented or sounding out words: Speaker sounds out the words.
- • Rapid automatized naming: Name items in an image as quickly as possible
- • Recording environment:
- • All recordings will take place in the speakers' home environment utilizing a personal mobile phone or laptop.
- • Speakers and their parents/caregivers are encouraged to record in a quiet environment with minimal background noise.
Responsibilities:
- • Required Qualifications:
- • Age 4 to 12 years old
- • Language spoken at home: Spanish
- • Ability to complete twenty prompts per speaker.
- • Currently living in Texas or California
- • Time Commitment:
- • The average time commitment is estimated to be between one and three hours. Please note that this duration may vary based on the depth of engagement and the inclusion of breaks during the session.
