The Spanish Teacher is responsible for managing a classroom, communicating, and teaching one or more subjects clearly and within the bounds of school procedures. They must also monitor each student-s progress and provide extra mentorship as needed. The Substitute Teacher will work directly with students to ensure the success and development of your classroom throughout the year.
Active State of Delaware License and Certification in subject area(s) required
With Relevant Experience in teaching Spanish
Favorable State and Federal Criminal Background Check
Child Abuse Registry Check
Tuberculin Test
COVID Vaccination Card/Written Certification from Religious Organization for vaccination exemption
Responsibilities:
Successfully teach subject material to assigned class
Follows through on the plans of a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students
Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of all the students
Prepares for classes assigned, and shows written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate superior
Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation
Works cooperatively with all staff and parents
Performs other duties as assigned
