Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant software development experience with proven track record
- BS and/or master's in computer science, Engineering or related field preferred.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages - Java, Scala, C++, Python, C#
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis
- Good understanding of design patterns, coding best practices and be able to write unit-testable code.
- Ability to convey complex ideas to others in a concise and clear manner
- Demonstrable knowledge of advanced programming concepts such as multithreading, memory management, and query processing
- A passion for application scalability, availability, reliability, security and cost-effective execution
- A proven ability to deliver high-quality work on tight schedules
- Experience with relational data stores
- Experience building quality RESTful APIs
- Experience with Microservices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
- Experience working in an agile development environment
Responsibilities:
- Engage with an experienced, cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and implement innovative enterprise and consumer products
- Prepare technical requirements and software design specifications
- Implement, and launch while following the best engineering practices, such as detailed technical documentation, incorporating unit and integration testing, enabling logging, monitoring, and alarms to make sure your service is following top SaaS standards
- Execute best practices for software development, documentation, operations, deliver exceptional-quality work on tight schedules, and ensure that services are operationally ready to meet customer needs
- Collaborate with the team to review code changes and ensure high quality of software
