ABOUT THE ROLE
IM Division would like to procure a seasoned Systems Analyst to supplement the IM Team to meet scheduled development efforts as part of the DDI project for the American Rescue Plan (ARPA/unwinding) initiative.
DMAS is currently seeking a Systems Analyst to serve complex Information Technology (IT) systems development projects by reviewing user requests, performing technical systems analysis, monitoring, planning, scheduling, and ensuring system and documentation quality.
The Systems Analyst will also serve as project lead for the implementation of the new Medicaid Enterprise System with respect to various areas of change.
**Those with solid MMIS exp will be considered first.
This includes, but is not limited to, participation in the development and implementation of functionality associated with MES, assists with testing and training, coordinates with PMO and serves as a project lead for implementation of any changes identified.
Skill Matrix:
Organized self-starter who works efficiently with Medicaid and/or other health provider processing systems, management practices and principles - Required - 7 Years
Strategic and tactical planning methodologies - Required - 7 Years
Operations procedures and capabilities of mainframe applications, client-server application architecture - Required - 7 Years
Operations procedures and capabilities of telecom aspects of multi-platform systems, effective knowledge of SQL - Required - 7 Years
Operations procedures and capabilities of EDI X12 HIPAA compliant transactions, APIs, MFT - Required - 7 Years
In-depth knowledge of Medicaid or other health care provider centered subsystems, systems development life cycle - Required - 7 Years
Demonstrated ability to plan & complete assigned work, plan & assign resources, communicate effectively orally/In writing; motivate & work with people - Required - 7 Years
Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new technical environments (multiple disciplines) - Required - 7 Years
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with dynamic priorities - Required - 7 Years
Demonstrated ability to be equally adept at highly technical and strategic issues/projects - Required - 7 Years
Working knowledge of emerging technology, tools, and standards, including SOA, HL7, web technologies. - Required - 7 Years
Preferred candidate will have Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred in Information Systems, Business Management/Administration, or related area - Required - 7 Years
Ideal candidate will have Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) experience preferred - Highly desired - 4 Years
