You don't need a babysitter, and we won't treat you that way. This opportunity can be located at the Fairfax, VA or other HII- TS office. You have the option to work a hybrid schedule (when we return to the office) or work remotely.

Responsibilities: I want to and can do that

Perform all aspects of full life-cycle recruiting, including loving to hunt and identify great candidates, develop fantastic partnerships with hiring managers enabling you to successfully negotiate offers and close candidates rapidly.

Cultivate relationships with hiring managers and develop strong partnerships resulting in a mind meld of understanding their hiring needs enabling you to identify the successful candidate and fill vacancies rapidly

Proactively hunt, source and pipeline candidates. Constantly seeking new, creative methods for finding qualified candidates.

Partner with line to develop comprehensive, exciting and interesting job descriptions, like this one, as a

component of the overall attraction strategy and understand how this influences time to accept.

Get in front of it - develop and maintain robust qualified candidate pipelines

Excite potential candidates about TSD's opportunity and future.

Confidently evaluate and recommend candidates based on TSDs core competencies and cultural fit based on your expertise.

Negotiate with hiring managers and candidates to successfully offer competitive compensation packages.

Participate in external market scans and provide insight and recommendations; use knowledge to develop recruiting strategies, educate hiring managers as well as support proposals, as needed.

Strong organizational, communication (both written and verbal), and networking skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate as part of a team

An established reputation, network and relationships to identify and recruit outstanding passive candidates and maintain a strong pipeline of talent.

Confidence to interact effectively with all levels of candidates and management.

Ability to professionally demand productive requisition intake sessions.

Know regulations and the law. Ensure compliance with hiring policies, practices, and company values.

What you must have:

6 years experience progressive Recruiting experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.

A minimum of 5 years of full life-cycle recruiting, from requirements analysis to hiring, to include understanding real job needs at a technical and results level.

Demonstrated experience with proactive sourcing methods to include leveraging job boards, CRM, ATS, career fairs, and social media, among other methods, to maximize candidate quality and personal productivity.

Expertise with an automated applicant tracking system.

Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)

Bonus points for...

Experience in recruiting with a government contractor, to include experience recruiting for proposals and for cleared personnel

Ability to add strategic impact and influence with hiring decisions to include taking initiative on new recruiting methodology and creative approaches to hiring

General human resource and compensation knowledge

Understanding of common staffing metrics and functions

Physical Requirements

Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
