Technical Support Engineer (Multiple Roles) (San Diego, CA)

We are looking for multiple Technical Support Engineers for a global B2B high-tech company. This role will be responsible for managing and resolving the most challenging issues and escalation for the customer and providing technical guidance in addressing their business needs.

This is a 12-month project (extensions possible), 40 hours per role. Must be available to work onsite at San Diego, CA once the office re-opens

This is a w2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee, health benefits, and 401K offered.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain technical expertise in assigned areas of product functionality and utilize that expertise effectively to help customers Customer Advocate providing support to users/administrators of our platform. Understanding our platform, cloud technologies and troubleshooting practices to ensure successful resolution of challenging technical situations. Hands on experience triaging, troubleshooting, resolving and providing root cause analysis for ServiceNow Product issues Suggest and implement improvements to internal processes and tools Effectively communicate with customers and internal teams via case, phone and other electronic methods Create knowledge base materials dedicated towards operational efficiency while also empowering and enabling the customers Maintain impeccable case hygiene and customer related files and records Participate
in the weekend support on-call rotation

Requirements:

2+ or 4+ years of Tech support or software coding experience with High tech solutions companies. (MUST) Advance knowledge of the components in a web application stack. (MUST) Strong Experience in one (or more) scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell) Strong knowledge on LDAP/ActiveDirectory, SSO or other authentication or user management systems (e.g. Azure AD, Okta. SAML, SiteMinder) Strong Understanding of Email Infrastructure (e.g. Exchange, Office 365, Postfix) Advance knowledge on WebServices (consuming or providing) (SOAP, REST) Strong working knowledge on Network infrastructure Hands on experience in any bi-directional, automated integration between two systems DataExtraction Technologies (e.g. JDBC, ODBC) or ETL integrations Strong Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle). Strong Experience using Linux/Unix OR Microsoft Server Bachelor's Degree, preferred
