Local Job Title: Technical Training Instructor

*** Please note that there are TWO (2) openings to fill within this request!!

Position Summary:

Assist senior technical trainers with the preparation and delivery of training programs. Provides high-quality technical training delivery on Cummins products and systems. Delivers technical training to distributor, dealer, and customer service personnel to enable technician efficiency, repair quality and customer satisfaction. Provides technical support as required.

Responsibilities for this position will include the following:

* Develop product expertise by completing product qualifications.
* Deliver training courses with coaching from senior trainers.
* Participates in updating course materials, delegates handouts and trainer materials.
* Communicates the update of course materials to other training centers in the region.
* Supports the administrator in managing course records, forms and process implementations.
* Supports the maintenance coordinator in preparing all equipment & tooling needed for courses and in maintaining inventory records.
* Trains and provides technical support to technicians and service personnel on products, policies, systems and tools.
* Develop expertise through train the trainer sessions and maintain up-to-date training materials.
* Evaluates training with participant feedback and field performance.
* Maintains technical training records and report service capability.

Position Requirements:

* A Bachelors Degree is required to be considered for these openings.
* This team is seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years applicable and relevant work experience. The more experience the better!!
* Experience in Service is needed. Candidates with experience providing training or teaching are ideal.

Additional information from the manager:

*** IMPORTANT: An hourly pay rate range of $29.00/hr. - $36.00/hr. is what we need to be targeting for hires for this team. When making your submissions please be mindful of the mark-ups we should be targeting as a result of the supplier RFP completed in June of last year, 2021.

* These are on-site working positions the training these hires will be conducting is in-person training.

* Positions are scheduled to last a year in length. There is potential for another year extension to be requested. There is also a possibility for these hires to convert to full-time. Please note that this is just a possibility, not a guarantee they will be hired direct.

* The working schedule is Monday Friday with core working hours being 8:00 AM 5:00 PM. Some flexibility on the start/end times can be afforded as needed. Overtime may need to be worked on occasion.
