Warehouse Associate - Chamblee

Requirements:
- Proven warehouse experience
- Valid Driving License
- Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
- Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
- Team player with organizational skills
- Ability to lift or move products up to 50lbs
- Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required
Responsibilities:
- Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Processing, packaging and shipping orders accurately
- Drive by to the locations to pick up IT inventory
- Open bales, crates and other containers, and organize stocks.
- Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material, either independently or as part of a team depending on order size and daily staffing needs.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Provide dependable, shift- Long coverage of the warehouse facilities to ensure order fulfillment operates as efficiently as possible for the duration of the warehouse associate-s shift.
- Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately or as directed by the Superior.
- Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
